starting a three year old pup

Have any of you guys had much experience training a little bit older dog? I have a dog that is almost three that I haven't done much with due to a lack of time and was wondering if anyone has had much experience with starting a dog at this age.

Thats not a pup anymore. If it has a good handle then get it out in the woods and see if it has the right instints.

If it has no handle try to give it one, uphill battle but don't try to hunt with an out of control dog, its just asking for trouble and you are not going to have a good time. Come when called is most important... Stay, Leave it, Heel ect will make it more pleasant to be around.

one of the best dogs ive own , i will take that back , the best best dog i have ever owned sat on a chain untill she was 3. take the dog out .
