Well,

The first photo is me just before I put my Wife Beater T-shirt and strolled in an hour late.

Not sure who that second fellar is, a plott guy no doubt... but I'm pretty sure I danced with that little pregnant dish at the bar afterwards.

But a classy gal like that can see through trash like me and she finally run off with some black and tan dude.

I thought it was a great time, just a bit disappointed that they couldn't find a stripper under 52 years old. ;)

I spoke with Coop yesterday Brent and he told me his hat is off to you fellas. Said it was an awesome gathering and some real good people. Said the raffle items were unbelievable.

One other thing he said after meeting his two heroes..... old blood and guts Tony was not the giant he thought he was and you were quiet short

Spanky,

Ya, I'm just your basic run of the mill 5'10" 160 lb love machine. But if you look back at the posts on this site, I'm not the one claiming I was 7 foot tall and bullet proof. I think you have me mistaken with... oh never mind. ;)

As for BNG, not sure what Coop was expecting but Tony isn't small. He's not Shaq but he ain't Tiny Tim either. :D

I'm still not sure if that was really Coop or he sent his dad up. Because the grey stoved up old man walking around introducing himself as Coop sure didn't look nothin' like the young gritty looking cowboy in all his photos.

I guess I didn't see the "1980" caption down at the bottom of all those photos. ;)

So still not sure if I met the real "Treed" or if it was his Dad. :D

Guess you've never been able to see up that high huh?

You could always try standing on a chair. ;) Works for my kids.

Uh newsflash there Professor....

You making fun of someone for being short is kind of like the Rev. Jesse Jackson making fun of someone for being black. ;)

Never heard of a guy that's 5' 4" making fun of someone for being 5' 10" but I guess that's what makes you Ike. :D

Gotta run, have a good one!! And we missed you at the Banquet, don't sell yourself "short". :D

I heard you had a story in the magazine but I left my copy at the damn building so I didn't get to read it yet. But I'll get my hands on a copy, I've always loved fiction. ;)

My question is who is this cat,
Speaking of winners of the drag race this must be in the top 3.
I heard he was one of the door prizes.

Nobody told me what it was full blown no holds bared drag party.
I'm pullin out the fake fur and my Mardi Gra beads for next year.

I seriously heard good things about the party and thought dawg and Ike might of mended fences but things look like they are back to normal.
Good to see some things never change.

Holy crap I thought you were talking about me for a minute... Ya got the height and weight right at least... I guess we grow a little bigger out here n account of all the sun we get....

I'll agree, he almost made me feel short! And that's a feat, seeing as I'm taller than most the boys... It's tough finding a date that don't make ya look like an amazon.... Too bad I didn't make it out to Utah, the land of the giants.... At least on the internet they are ;)

Banquet

Post by treed »

Ok guys, Im back...Made it home with 106 bales of hay and only one flat on the trailer...All in all a great time...The turn out for the banquet was excellent I thought...Great bunch of guys....

I did get to meet the legends of the hound world and got their autographs....At first HoundDawg wouldnt give me one as he said he had to claim it on his taxes...He didnt want to be in trouble like Pete Rose or something :) :) ...But after awhile , he got tired of me begging and signed my hound magazine... ...

I have to admit, I was expecting larger than life characters from the legends, but when you meet them , you find they are just like the rest of us   ( Well some of us )....

I can tell you this much about the 2 legends, They were both cleaning up after me and the wife left...If Im not mistaken, I think Ole BNG got nominated for some kind of officer in the club and he accepted...They are both on the board in this club already...My hat goes off to these guys who volunteer their time for that.....Its not something I want to do...

You Utah boys that did not attend sure missed out...Good food, good prizes and good company...I have to say, again GOOD PRIZES...I think there were 5 or 6 rifles and 4 or 5 handguns raffled off.. Thats unheard of in these parts for an Houndsmen banquet...Great job guys... 8) 8)

It was a pleasure to yak with you HoundDawg , BNG and Katt Traxx...You guys ever make it down my way ,you got a place to say...

Geez Ike, I drove 500 miles to a Utah Banquet, Whats up with you

I have some photos of the legends . As you will see in the photos, HoundDawg is just as tall as the rest of us in the picture...Ill post them later
...Thx again Brent for helping out with the hay......Coop

Hey Cassandra, I should have clarified. When they talk about me being a giant and how large I am, uh they aren't referring to my height. ;) ;)

But I guess some things you'll just have to come to Utah to understand fully.
