0ver 600 miles of road cut to find one track. 4 fill ups and two sleepless nights. but I got my "snatch" pup on her first lion tree! also my brother, who hunted his tail off with me back when I started my first pups got to finally see his first lion tree! the lion was only night old and in perfect snow, so I threw down nothing but pups. they did exellent! she was tricky, bobben and weavin in caves and ledges before she treed. my brother has a kill tag that took 9 years to draw and he was bummed it wasn't a tom. the gayest pic I could find of my brother.lol "snatch pup" not every black dot is a tom......
"Houndn'Ems Blueticks" if it smells like a cat, they'll catch it.
Jared I had the same miles and fuel consumption last week and only treed one as well so I guess i am in good company. Lions didn't seem to move around to much. Good catch for the pups.

Nice pics jared thanks for sharin to bad it wasnt a tom bet ur brother woulda love taking his first cat. Do u guys catch many collared lions down there?
jeff, she was born the wrong time of year, so she's a little behind for what I like. but we treed a couple more since that one and she is starting to get the picture. what I need is a lion in a 5 foot tall mahogany and I think it will click. if you get bored come on down again.
