Lost Hound in Ruidoso, NM

Post by nhunter84 »

My younger brother was watching and hunting a hound for me in the Ruidoso, NM area. The dogs name is Cedar she is a walker hound about 30-35 pounds with a light tan head and black back on her. She was lost in the Ruidoso Downs area near the White Mountain Wildlife Taxidermy Shop. I will post a picture later today. She is wearing a red collar with my name and phone numbers on her. Anyone in that area please keep an eye out for her. Thanks.

If found she can be dropped off at the white mountain wildlife studio with Josh, Jared, Ted, or Charles

Hi Nathan are you going to be visiting with Chappie Scott later this year in South Africa ? Just dropped off some students for a PH school there today and he told me a houndsman from New Mexico named Nathan Wenner would be visiting with him later this year. If it is indeed you he said I should talk to you about joining me and my hounds for some caracal hunting while you are here - I live about 40 km from Chappie and have known him all my life. If you're interested in some hunting with hounds drop me a hello at sparkshounds@isat.co.za or on face book under Roy Sparks. Glad you recovered your hound she's really nice looking.

Yeah that would be me. That is the main animal I would like to hunt while I am over there. The trip is really for my wife she is probably going to do most of the shooting but I really want to get a caracal. I got into hounds when I was about 16 after going over there and hunting with Chappie and Ashley for 6 months and being part of several caracal hunts. After that I was hooked on hound hunting and when I got home got a pack going for lion and bear. Ill shoot you an email as well. Thanks for the offer and the contact information. Looking forward to hopefully meeting up with you when I am over there.
