I have a nikon I carry in the truck, use my phone when sledding. Kodak made a good one awhile back that was small as a cell, but waterproof. Thought about picking up a fancy video camera one of these days, would be nice to have.

yea i've been wanting one bad, watched a lion hunt the other day with steve biggerstaff on tv and one of the guys was using a wildgame innovations action camera seemed to work alright. steve was carrying one also not sure what kind must be pretty good and be able to take a beating if he owns it chasing the hounds everyday.

I would stay away from wildgame innovations the ones i had i left in the woods. I have a Panasonic dvx 100. there are some nice video cameras out there. The small ones are hard to hold still but easier to carry and cheaper. I would look at Sony. Sony is what i am going to switch to

I've got a Sony handycam dcr-sx85 and it works great for me, not very expensive and it's easy to use. Nothing to special, but it does the job well

I've also been using the Sony HD for about four years now. The only draw back is that Sony uses its own format, AVCHD, so make sure your editing software can handle that format, not all of them can.
