In my opinion if the dog really is JUNK, I'm glad the guy posted. Most people don't give good dogs away.

Don't know all the details, but, dogs who strike off game are usually trainable to good game[course they have to be on enough good game to know the difference]and 3 months in strike training/learning for cats hunting 5 days a week ain't nothing. As far as the actual running of trash, some are harder to break than others while some need so little, but if that dog was exposed somewhere from 30+ cats in that time and trash is still a problem it's either 1 or both of 2 problems=handler/training issue or dog is not going to take to the game of choice.

i know the dog in question , hunted her most of the last season and did alright just wanted to work with a younger dog and she wasnt what i was looking for . i didnt know hunter she ended up with was going to turn around and put her up for sale so i understand someone posting a warning . i would have done the same for a dog that had some issues , booger barks , whines alot , late at the tree ect, worked ok as a pack dog but not worth a bunch of cash in my opinion
