leopards in Montana

Post by NICK RILEY »

anyone hunting leopards in Montana or Idaho? if so what are you hunting and how are they doing. I have a 1 year old female I'm running with my bluetick. She is doing great on lions and bobcats. Just wanted to know how many other hunters are in the area and how there doing.

hey bud my only expeiriance is with cats and coon, and all of them that i have started for Dan Menton or myself have been extreamly cat happy,i meanyou see a few hounds that like cats more than coon or bear, but there is a ton of them in this line,i mean i got a little 10 month old named Fancy about 2 weeks ago,and i had to put the bark collar on her the other day,i got called by the neighbor 3 times last week, when the old lady up wind turnes her cat loose this little dog will wind it and go absolutly bonkers until my son brings her in the house, keep in mind she can't see the cat at any time,so now she don't bark but i'm afraid it wont be long til she climbs the kennel fence, lol,i got a big tom lion that passes threw on the ridge to the north of me,he should be comeing threw any time now,she should be able to smell it,lol the neighbor will get over it,but like i said i have no idea how they would do on bear, some of the females i've worked are real rough and agresive on cats and coon, don't keep males so can't say
