Well i just woke up to a head ache and dehidration, the 19th hole might not have been a good idea. Today is my bday im going hunting tonight instead of drinking, I think. Hey mark , the neighbor just called and said they found your dogs. They caught that opposum. What time did u start it? He said they have been treed for 3 hours.

Man, I envy you guys. Mark treeing possum, Posse baying rock chucks, that's what sucks living in the midwest, we just don't have any good game like that to chase around here. Someday I'm going to point my rig west and come out to chase some of those elite critters, who knows, I may even have a rock star and don't know it....

Mr. Mondo, atleast your not going to care if you run a coyote or not. And Mark, what you have is a classic example of PTSD. Gross holusinations that you believe are true, Really Mark you need to be honest with yourself. Was that really a cat you seen the dogs bull-dogin?

I understand, the 1st time I saw that stub tailed coyote I had a simular reaction. But it dosent really Af-f-fffeect me anymore. Choosing who you want to come hunt with, using a shady tricters topic as a guide probably was a bad idea. . Now your telling yourself. My dogs wont run a coyote. Well with enough cat piss, generously applied to the cat hide that was duct taped to the coyote, mix in some new dogs to add pack aggression, and they will. Anyway, I need to leave the country for a couple months. But jc will still be here. . John.

John, it's not that I don't care if I run a coyote..It's a bit like yourself, your probably pretty dedicated to your wife but when a little 20 yr old in a bikini walks by, you tend to walk a little off course for a spell.

Oh, I did pm Obama and he denied my request. He said this isn't a trip for the faint of heart, it's a pretty tough crew out there. Now, i thought to myself, how would he know that? Seems that there may be a well kept secret going on here..

John, i have to admit that the birthdays are coming a lot faster, i get AARP mail weekly, the doctor feels he needs to shuv his finger where the sun don't shine, those canyons are getting awfully steep and deep,i need glasses to read, but i don't need them for longer distances, i dont need Viagra and i can dang sure tell the difference between a crititer and coyote, no matter how well you disguise it. And besides how many dogs have you ever owned that could put a Lane Frost job on a coyote like i witnessed last nite. Just sayn

That second race last nite did turn out to be a possum. I walked into the tree from the wrong spot, took me 4 hrs. JC, you certainly have some understanding neighbors, they invited me in and fed me breakfast and told me countless stories of how you and john use to chase their dotters all over the county and your dogs were always chasing the pigs and horses. And how none of ya ever caught anything but they enjoyed watching yawl try. They harvested that big ol bull possum the dogs treed and mumbled something about a big birthday dinner they were throwing for someone tonite. Hmmmmmm

Well Mark, Sorry to leave you hangin. But a biker gang came through this area, one of the head gang members bikes had thrown a chain. I was the only 1 that could fix it within a 5 mile radius, so I did. And the bikers were pleased.

But instead of getting on their bikes and riding on, the other bikers started finding stuff for me to fix. I tried to tell them I had other things to do, but they didnt care and went to eating everything in the house and making a big mess. They even had me at gun point.

Boy, was I happy when my wife made it home and set those bikers straight, She saved me.

Those kids/ I mean bikers. Will have another thing coming tomorrow, if they think I am working on their bikes all day. . Somedays the hounds need a rest. A fella never knows when a biker gang might need a mechanic John.

I am not to sure about jc he's MIA. It was his birthday and all.

I heard their is some damn good cat hunting along the nevada border in winnemucca. That guy loves running those tough cats.

If anyone has the artistic ability to draw marks 11 month old pup, breaking that cat bronc style. It sure would be neat to see on paper. If done good enough we could raffle it off at the cat hunters gathering, to help offset the cost of putting it together. I could donate a bobcat hunt next winter to the artist. Thank you. John.

Well i survived my birthday. A freind of mine brought a half gallon of whisky to me at work . 3 of us drank the whole thing on the landing . We went to his house and contiued to drink beer. The brillant idea of ufc fighting came up , all except to punching and kicking part. after we choked eachother out numerous times he called his son up and he joined in on what we call fun around here. When i dragged my sorry ass home the old was so inpressed with me she hasnt even said one word to me. I made it to work today but never made it very long. I can tell u my body looks and feels like i was drug behind a pickup down a paved road. Did i mention we were an concrete when we were ufc fighting. so much for getting smarter with age. nap time.

John, i don't believe that there is a artist alive that could duplicate the smile on that pups face when they landed in the road, let alone the look on that critters face. But anyone who wants try is more than welcome to. Ol JC sure sounded rough on the phone this morning, i was pretty sure the essence of two stroke was going to have a bad effect on him LMAO! I forgot to ask him but i assume he missed that possum dinner last nite.

Whats the weather suppose to be like down there this weekend?

The saw did sound alot louder today , i forgot my earplugs. My throat hurts, my shoulder hurts . i have scrabs on my knees , elbows , hands and head. If your gonna be dumb you gotta be tough. I notice the tough part has left the building. Maybe next year i will grow up.
