Great New Book!

Post by Dads dogboy »

Folks,

I just received a Pre-production Copy of the reason we have heard so little out of "Ole David" in the last few months!

Image
(please excuse the image position as I am having problems between a new Computer and Tinypics)

This is going to be a MUST read for all Hound Hunters East - West - North & South, no matter if you are after the Short Tails or other Varmints!

It is raining and sleeting here in AR (so much for Spring arriving) so Dad and I will be reading and rereading "The Northern Bobcat Dog" all week end. I will give a book report early next week.

I am looking forward to meeting the Hunters and Hounds in the NW and Northern Midwest who may have past on, or who may still be "afterem" as Dad says.

With David's gift of Words this should be one to rank up there with "Where the Red Fern Grows", "Tales of Ole Traveler", "General Red" and "Brave"!

Knowing David both personally and from here on BGH I am sure we will not be disappointed

Folks,

I am blessed at being a speed reader....am halfway through it and become more impressed by the page!

To meet Mr. Tom Barnes, and Elmer Blankenship will alone make the book worth owning.

You all will not believe the amount of detail as to Bobcats habits, skills and habitats that David is able to convey!

This should be a MUST read for anyone anywhere who wants to chase the Shorties!

Contact David @:

David Peightal C/O Stone Jetty Publishing
P.O. Box 1411 Stanwood, WA 98292

or Email David @ tbdatb@yahoo.com

Just finished the 1st reading on "The Northern Bobcat Dog".....there is something there for everyone....Experienced Bobcat Hunters from anywhere....Beginner's and Want to's but not sure if he/she might want to be a Bobcat Hunter in the North Snow Country.....each will take something from this work!

The Stories and Biographies will be worth the price of the Book.....the knowledge shared and the many things that can aid in a Persons development as a Bobcat Hunter and Houndsman (as a Person as well)....well there just is no Monetary Value high enough to compensate for this!

David told me on the phone tonight that he wants to have the Folks mentioned in the book to Proof it and allow him a chance to amend and edit any thing that needs it. Also there are some Pics. that did not copy well, so it may be several weeks before the Book is available to the Public.

Contact him at the above addresses if you are interested and how many copies you may want (his Price per copy will be cheaper than I am paying for 50#s of Dog Feed). He does not feel that many people will be interested in the Book other than a Few Friends......after the 1st reading it TRUELY ranks up there with "General Red" and "Where the Red Fern Grows".

Do you have another email address that one doesn't want to work

Thanks!

Sorry about the email not working. It works now I think. But as of now there are no books that are for sale yet. Thank you Mr C. John for the kind and encouraging words. I am afraid it will be a very long time before I can accept some of the comparisons. It is just me, and you already know what I say anyway.

My hope is simply that some one some where is like I was 30 years ago and finds this book. I would have been helped by it, and I think they will be.

I just have to get it to everyone (or their living relatives) that is spoken of or pictured in the book to make sure they are OK with it. If we need to re-do some stuff it might be awhile. If we decide to go with it as it is it should be available pretty soon. Thank You for the interest and I am excited to have you read it.
