Got this from attending the ODFW Town Hall meeting Monday. An auto-response was sent to me, after I submitted an e-mail with my comments, saying the e-mail would be sent to "the appropriate staff for review, filing and any necessary response."
Of course I have put this in my address book. I encourage ya'll to copy it to yours and send them comments when they occur to you.
This town hall meeting was about increasing the hunting/ angling license fees. It was pretty packed, think Bob and I were the only houndhunters. My buddy Mark from Sauvie was there. He is still working on getting a meeting for the management plan at Sauvie.
In my comments I requested being able to use Sauvie for UKC Nite Hunts and allowing houndsmen to train their dogs year around there...AT NIGHT.
