Re: Oregon Cougar and Bear bill for 2014?
I worked for the Oregon state forestry for six years back in the mid 80s. I also went to Oregon State for wildlife biology about the same time. At that time you had about a 50-50 mix of students and government workers who were hunting types and non hunting types. The school however was so far left it was disgusting. There Ideas were being crammed down your throat. The pendulum was swinging quickly and heavily toward the anti hunters taking over ODFW and every other part of government. I am sure there are a few people still on our side in ODFW. But I guarantee you the majority are not. The truth is the truth. It is not wrong to tell it. I would rather loose everything I have telling the truth than keep a little hiding a lie. Take care Larry

Larry: you are right the schools have educated the students to a left view. The head of Springfield ODFW committed that there is nothing wrong with the cougar population except encroach of people on their habitat after several years he has slowly changed him opinion along with a lot of other younger ODFW people. I guided Charles Meslow for several years which was one the professor at Oregon State, he made the commit that more and more of the students were out to save the world and protect everything [none hunting]. The schools and government has know whats best for us for years. The people of the land be farmers or hunters are just a bunch of ignorant people. All we are good for is our vote and we are easy to manipulate to get the out come they want. When one person can stop a bill or our congress men vote a health care that no one has seen tells you a lot about our politician. The government knows whats best give us your money and we will take care of you. The people have had very little say for a long time. There are two ways that I see that it will every change, the government will break this country and the people will rebel and take it back or change the the way it works. Which will never happen as long as our well paid politicians have the control. We are being controlled by the government not we controlling the government. So you can make people wrong or use the system as best as you can to get an out come that you want. I do not feel that that is what we as hound men have done. It takes money and a man that understands how the system works to change it. It is nothing to do with what the people want or right and wrong. Dewey

Dewey, what I gather from your post is that since someone is going to act as an agent, it might as well be you. I ask you this, if you leave your doors unlocked someone will steal your stuff so it might as well be me, right? If I dont eat the last piece of cake someone else will so I should just eat it and not worry about anyone else, right?
Re: Oregon Cougar and Bear bill for 2014?
I never lock a door and if you steal my stuff there will be no need to call the cops I will take care of it. I guess I am so far off in my thinking or maybe I am right on. It sure has not been working with what we have done in the past to get it changed. We only have ourselves to blame for the laws and vote that caused this. Dewey

Dewey, was speaking figuratively so you can back off on the comical threats.
by your own admission, what is happening now is not working and agents are killing lions now so what does that say?
