Video for JR

Post by Cowboyvon »

I had these clips of a hunt I went on with JR Williams... he was over 80 years old and had been hunting this area for a long time.. He was a good hunter and houndsman and had caught alot of lions and bears... he got on a young horse and was thrown and killed

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Brett that's a pretty cool video. Sure does remind me of Henry. Anybody that gets to hunt with an old time hunter like that is fortunate.

That's pretty sweet, Brett. I still regret never taking the time to meet J.R.

Thanks he was a lot of fun...always told me he just loved to be out in nature in gods creation...
Wish I would of had a better camera then and more time to hunt with him

I have another video, or really a slide show of another hunt I had with an old famous lion hunter...coming soon...I'm going to call it "dry ground lion hunting with Tulip"
