Benny G and I went out earlier this year and caught a female lion I had my go-pro camera but didn't know how to set it up right.. I thought I was videoing but it was just taking a picture every few seconds..
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
Holy smokes, Brett!!! This hunt should have been the main attraction in the coffee shop!! I did, however, like your choice of background music! It sure beat listening to those barking dogs all over again! Now, how's about a beer!!???!!

When in doubt, ask someone that knows, not just claims to know.
Willie you mean you've never heard of Tulip the famous dry ground lion hunter.. you been living under a rock
He earned that name.. you know how flowers are they they need sunshine and heat.. if it gets too cold they wilt... thats the way Benny is, I know because before this trip I took him up on top where my place is and I watched him wilt.
Buddy you could down load that video and copy the sound track and use it to go to sleep at night I think I finally got my go-pro figured out .. it really is an amazing little camera. I also bought me a DSLR cannon t5i ... it really takes good pictures and with the right attachments can take theater quality video.. but also takes a lot of learning
I've been having to sit in this house for the last few weeks so I decided I would learn how to edit video... I have hours and hours of video and kept a pretty complete video diary from last year.. I might go ahead and put it up on you tube maybe someone can learn some things not to do...

How are you doing. Well, you know I don't get out much so I'm sort of in the dark all the time. But either way it looks like you guys had a good time. Maybe one of these days I'll get up that way.
Take care, Willie

Cry to the heavens and let slip the dogs of war. For they must feed on the bones of tyranny. In order for men to have freedom and liberty
Willie,
I see that you're in Arizona. Let me give you a little advise. If you make a circle with Brett, he'll do his best to take you somewhere close to his camp. I would advise AGAINST it! you wouldn't know it, just driving up there, but it lies just a little north of the polar ice cap! Although he whines A LOT while hunting in warmer climates, there are some lions available to trail around down there in the tropics! I would suggest that you show up in Burmuda shorts and flip flops....he'll understand.
I really do enjoy Brett's company, I'm just getting a tad bit hard to acclimate back and forth between polar opposites in weather!

I hunt in burmudas and flip flops all the time. But I keep long johns in the saddle bags, for when I get up in the polar elevations. Than I just slip behind a cedar, remove the burmudas jump into the long handles and put the burmudas back on for extra warmth. I also have heavy wool socks with toes so I can get year round use of the flip flops. Do you think that this would be efficient, yet still stylish?? If I ever get up in that country.
Take care, Willie

That's a pretty sweet video clip. I thought it was a cool way to see the hunt. The music was way better than having to listen to them nasty old hounds sing there song.
