Hunted out of state for a month and seen all kinds of weather. I used some plywood hinged A-frame type boxes that folded up but they were not the best. I was wondering what type of houses do others use when camped out for long periods of time that are portable, light and don't cost an arm and a leg. I usually use my truck dog box but had several new dogs on this trip which made sleeping difficult. Looking for a better system for next year.
Thanks

Re: traveling dog houses
I use the big plastic storage bins by cutting hole in one end big enough for your dog flip it up side down with the lid on it then pin it down with tent stakes, watch that they don't chew on them and put bedding in, they are water tight and stake up even with the bedding.
Ignorance and not getting involved is the biggest enemy to a Houndsmen!
