So what does everyone do during the summer months that does not dry ground their dogs? I know some of y'all run coons.

Not much down by me, run scent trails for the youngns. I tried roading my dogs off and on but with the number of bears by me its hard to go a mile without having dogs go from working out to having the times of their lives. If we could run bears I would be golden.

I try to road em a couple, three times a week early morning or late in the evening. Great time to work on your handle and do some trash breaking. Had a nice bachelor group of bull elk cross the road in front of me yesterday morning. Got to tune up my year old pup pretty good, hoping he'll make the connection that elk bite. Working on strike training with set up trainers and then turning loose to make the connection. If ya don't want them to run bear, why not put the tritronics on and break them?
