Hound Training

Post by StormyRidgeOutfitters »

One of the biggest thrills for us is to train and finish hounds. We hunt primarily in Utah and Arizona. We have over twenty five years of experience and have trained some top notch dogs. With the land we have we can finish dogs on bear, lion, bobcats, and coon. We hunt hard and can show dogs a lot of game in a hurry. For any questions call us or visit us on the web at, www.stormyridgeoutfitters.com

Hound training

Post by StormyRidgeOutfitters »

Hey thanks guys. Like all of us here I just love hunting with these dogs. We've been hitting the coons pretty hard the last couple of days and I'll have some more pics coming. I'm still looking for a couple more dogs to train. We are now hunting coon at night and bear during the day. We show our dogs a lot of game and it doesn't take them long to figure things out.

Thanks,

Hound 1, The results are different between every dog, but most dogs that want to hunt turn on quick with the amount of game we can show them. We are hunting lion, bear, and coon right now. You're dog would see around fifteen coon and either a couple bear or a couple lion on top of that a week. We prefer rigging bears with our rig dogs and we can usually teach younger dogs to rig both bear and coon in a short period of time. If you're interested give me a call or if you want to see some of my dogs I hunt and that I've trained visit my web page at, www.stormyridgeoutfitters.com

Ok, Ok, sorry. I will give credit where credit is due, you do a good job of finding and putting game up, I just wish we could become legendary like the "HOLY ONE". Or just as cool as Hounddawg. See ya at the bear tree tommorow.

hey guys, I have hunted with kason and his hounds, He takes pride in them. its funny how when someone is successful there is a bunch of jealousy out there. we put up a lot of bears and lions this year with his hounds, when he says he put your hounds on a bunch of game that is what he will do. Kason is not a bragger, He is just doing what he loves to do and is very humble about it. So all you jealous people out there try with all your might to keep your comments to yourselves, besides that we are all hunters we should all get along, and congragulate your fellow houndsman thats having success and not try and bring him down...

Thanks KK, You know I can't give all my secret spots away, but we kinda just go where hunters draw tags. We've leased some ranches and this helps with finding game, because we're the only ones able to hunt there. If you want to go hunt sometime send me a pm and we'll hook up.

Thanks,
