treein bobcats
treein bobcats
ive never done any bobcat hunting wi dogs but i am very interested in it. when coon hunting the dogs would tree then when we would get close to the tree the dogs would break and run and tree again and just keep doing that. we always said it was a bobcat. do they tend to stick tight when you tree them in the day time?

They stick pretty tight day or night if you actually tree em.

i feel if your hunting in a thick area they are more likely to climb down aLOT....but if your hunting when there isnt as much woods i feel like they dont come down as often
Just my two cents

Re: treein bobcats
You might be treeing gray fox. They Will jump ,more often than a bobcat.A cat will jump out but i've only seen a half dozen do it in all the years i've been hunting them.I've treed hundreds of them just to give you a idea of how often they do it.All the ones i saw do it were in small trees.
