Why Walkers?

Over other breeds? They seem to be the most popular choice in both the big game and small game worlds. Not trying to start anything, just curious.

One can find good dogs in all hound breeds. The reason for the popularity with the walkers is that there are 20 million more of them to choose from (availability). I personally think people like their "looks", coloring especially than the other breeds. They are flashier.

personally i think theres no best hound breed period. but i prefer gettin a pup other than a walker. cuz i here alot more walkers being culled then a bluetick, english redtick, etc. but i know there is culls in those other breeds too obviously. but thats just my opinion i know theres good and bad in all breeds. there just dogs you're gambling on.
