I have really enjoyed these episodes of Carnivore with all the cat treeing! My hats off to y'all Gary and Joe and everyone else involved. It is really nice to give southern cat hunters some camera time. I wish it would work out for the camera to get more of the race, and there may be an episode that does, I've only gotten to see the last two weeks. I sure like seeing those long legged walker dogs stir up some Tx dust! I suppose them border cats tree a little more than these piney woods cats? Way to go fellas!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes, we would love to be able to see more of the race and have ideas on how to do it. Of course, hunting where it is more open make it a lot easier to see the dogs and perhaps the cat.
Joe has excellent dogs and I really appreciate him allowing me to hunt a young dog or two with him.

most everyone in Texas hunt because they love the race. with that being said I dont know of any guides. that doesnt mean there arent any though. find someone on here and pm them and keep in contact with them. In other words make a friend. show them you are serious and let them get to know you. PATIENCE! Ive come to know that cat houndsmen are first class good people. MOSTLY! most of this is to complicated and takes to long for folks, they would just rather pay someone and get it over with. Im sure someone somewhere will take money if thats still what your looking for. alot of times these fellows dont want to put their buisness in the open for everyone to see, so remember private messages. hope you find what your looking for my friend.
