Re: Hound Breed Q
yes. I hunted a trig blue tick crossed hound for years and it was one of my better lion dogs. it didn't prefer older tracks but would work most catchable tracks with good enthusiasm. and ran very well. it also handle well. but as far as I know I've not seen a pure bred trigg in this country. the one I had was a high tan colored dog with a blueticked chest and belly long legged slender build.

Re: Hound Breed Q
I have a 3.5 year full blood Trigg Female that is at the top of my pack for bobcat and lion. She has had one litter of pups and her pups ( I kept three, selling one to Tim M. in CO) all of these pups are now 15 months and doing great.
Have some more fullblood + registered Triggs that I will breed and cross with straight Running Walker cat hounds & Treeing Walker cat hound. The Trigg lines that I have contribute in my crossing for locating, treeing, and putting some small catfooted feet on their progeny.
I have and am adding some more Trigg Registered hounds to my pack of cat hounds.
