Trashbreaker G2 transmitter not working
Had system for three years, never had a problem untill now. Transmitter appears to be charged but wont send out signal to any of the six collars. Tried to re (mary) the collars and still nothing. Green light appers on top of transmitter but collars wont beep, shock, nothin. Called tri tronics and they said that they dont offer repairs. They also stated to try new battery in transmitter however they dont carry them imagine that. Any help would be appreciated. I just hate spending the money not knowing if the battery is the problem.

Call collar clinic, they might be able to help you. They seem to have reasonable prices. If you are handy with a multimeter, you could probably check that battery to make sure it is working properly.

checked the batterie and it was 7.8 v owners manual states its a 9 V wouldnt think that a 1 v differance would keep it from functioning. Also one would think that I would have noticed it loosing charge more rapidly if the battery was the issue.

I'm not sure if Collar clinic can get the batteries for the G2's. We are unable to find them anywhere.
I would have to check and see if they do the repairs on the G2's or not but I think the repair on the TB is 95 dollars and you should get a new unit back, I'm guessing you would get a G3 back but I'm not positive on that Now that Garmin is doing all the repairs for TT units.

Sounds like one of the cells that make up the battery pack went bad. If you can't find one, maybe you can have one made or make one yourself, really isn't that hard to do and it's cheaper too.
