First of all I know Cleo very well. He gave me dogs while I was attending law school and let me hunt with him. I have seen some of his dealings with Greg Andersen and others also. I called and talked to Cleo this morning about this. He is in the hospital so I am going to defend him not for his circumstance but because of what I know to be true. I feed Cleo's dogs for him when he is not around. In the past several months I have only seen the same four dogs in his kennel. Before that he had a black and tan named Remington he gave away to a kid in UT that needed a dog because she had seizures if she got to hot. The dog was a finished dog that I had hunted with several times. I have grown up around dogs since I was little and Cleo knows dogs. I have seen him haul dogs for people, sell some nice dogs and guys try to screw him over. Blackandblue has also only posted 5 times to slander Cleo and frankly I question this mans integrity because no dogs have left Cleo's place. Larry your status says it all "loud mouth". You are always causing problems and seem to be a coward, which your conversation with Brent supports. Twist or should I say Andy, I was hunting with Topper Again and Cleo when you got him, You gave him a crappy, beat up 4 wheeler, which I rode bear hunting. The wheeler wasn't worth a grand and you have made tons of money off of Topper and Cleo. It is sad that even you will not defend the man where he has done so much for you. Cleo also told me today that you owe him two pups off the deal and have never given him one. So this is why I never have gotten on these sites. A bunch of crap talking cowards who cant hunt because they are always on here. I know Cleo sold a few pups out of his Oregon dog and that's it. I sick and done.

I am writing this post to respond to this accusation. I don't know who this person is and did not sell him a dog. Also I have a few friends that have pm'd him asking him question and he doesn't respond. This post was quite the surprise since I haven't been on here since September. I feel for the person who feels like they got screwed over, but I think you need to get the right seller. After looking at my pm's the last dog I sold was February 2012. The last dog I listed was January of 2013 and that dog was given away because she couldn't handle the heat during bear season. The last pup I sold was in September and before that I haven't sold a pup for years. Yes, I have sold dogs and no you can't make everyone happy.

TIny is a prime example of that. I got Tiny from Jeff Allen and hunted her for two years before selling her. I sold her because she was more cat minded than bear minded and way more of a cat dog than I needed. No matter what anyone says the guy that bought her from Wyoming texted me a picture of a lion he caught with her and was very happy with her. Three months later he changed his tune and I was willing to take her back until he insulted me. Later he admitted he could buy a dog there he found a little cheaper. I feel like I handed that well. No I am not going to defend myself anymore and answer any more accusations.

Topper Again: Yes, Andy Jensen bought/traded Topper Again from me. I also got Topper from Jeff Allen and hunted him one season. Jeff had Topper when he was young and sent him to California for a few years. I got Topper because the best dogs I have ever owner was out of him. I bred a female to him and the pups where amazing. After buying him I bred all of my females to him. He was trashy at times and not my best dog. I made the decision to be hunter and not a breeder and sold him to Andy. I will say I am really surprised he is still alive because he was white faced when I sold him and that was years ago. So if you want a pup don't wait to bred to him.

I was going to apologize to Andy for RJ's comments and called him, but he would not answer instead he sent me this message:

Cleo need you to clear up the shit your buddy put up about me as that is down right bullshit. I stay out of pissin matchesvon here so clear the bs said about me up as we no this is not the way it was. Andy

So here's the way it was: I traded topper to Andy for an older 4 wheeler with bald tires, $200, and I was promised two pups. (I can prove all of this with PM's from Andy and I, I saved all of them.) I was fine with the arrangement and was never mad at Andy but am disappointed in him. I never received a pup. Topper in my opinion is the best stud dog I have ever seen and I think he should be bred to good females. Andy did tell me I could bring a female up to bred to Topper and that made things right in my mind. During the exchange I told Andy to stud him out, but Andy said he wouldn't. I told him to do it and don't be a fool because of the quality of pups he throws. Within a week Andy had him posted and I think he was smart. Andy is telling the truth about the dog being registered to Jeff because I never changed his registration. I never cared about his papers, just the quality of pups he threw.

PLEASE READ: Andy Jensen did disappoint me by his message and how he responded to the comments on Topper, but he did not lie. He actually did call me up and ironed things out with me today and I admirer that. As I stated above he also made things right with me in the past. RJ's opinion is his and not mine. I was fine with the trade and I appreciate both RJ and Andy. If I felt different I would say so.

Jeff Allen is a great man and I think the world of him. He has done more for hounds than 90% of the hound community. Cobalt don't know you and no one in my area seems to know you and I called at least 20 people from New Plymouth to Idaho Falls, Idaho. I am not threatening anyone or you, but am curious because you talk about the same areas I hunt. Larry don't know you, but I don't like the way you treat people on here.. I really miss the old Greg Andersen and think of him all the time. The Greg that lived in Nucla, CO before moving to Arizona and I hope you are in heaven running dogs.

I love running my dogs and I hate all the drama. I am not going to answer or reply to anything. Also I have gotten a lot of calls from friends and just let this go. I appreciate you RJ even though you are a hot head. I am afraid that hound hunting will not be around much longer because we don't stand together and we as prideful houndsmen will cause the fall of hound hunting. Just get outside and enjoy your dogs. I have a low tolerance for liars,cheats and crooks and i don't care if i offend them,however it bothers me a great deal to think i might have had a hand in casting stones at a innocent man.In the future i'll refrain from making comments about alleged crooks unless i know the whole story. he is a crook ! sells a lot of culls ! example for you cleois pocahontas dirty daus you sold her for 2000 to a couple that are in deery idaho she was junk . bred good but was a cull. you guaranteed her and when they wanted money back you wouldnt answer or call back. also whenever i have ran into you on the mountain your dogs are scattered all over the country. and you just love to bs about how great your dogs are and thats what it is bs.
