Trouble With a DC 40?

I am a new lion hunter and by new I mean I am 14 and been doing this for two years consistently. I have one collar that doesn't work very good at all. I can be riding and all of a sudden the gps will say that my dog is lots and lots of miles away,(always different distances). I have turned her collar off then on again, and it will fix it for a while then it will repeat it again. I have tried taking it completely apart and cleaning it and changing the antennas out with even dc 50 antennas! it still does the same thing. is there anything else I can try? im about out of ideas.

try updating the collar, what part of az you in im 16 and have been doing it for two years so im pretty new to good luck
