muttman82,Enjoyed our chat Jason.Being as you're just getting started you might not realize what a fine young hound you have.Treeing the game he has and just turning 2 years old meens he'll only get better .The dog is worth a few grand right now ,of course i know you're not in this sport for the money .You both sound like a couple of naturals to me.Have fun hunting and learning together.I liked the video and pictures .Keep in touch.

Redbones, I'm not prejudice (when it comes to good hounds) it just worked out that way. Dog on the right is a 7 1/2 year old stud and the lead dog. Bred him to a papered bitch in Western WA to make the dog on the left. This was his first bear tree, not quite a year old, been to one other coon tree. I have a female from the same litter but she had to stay home because she's in heat. I used to hunt with a friend and his dogs but he sold out so I'm building my own pack. I went a month before catching one this Spring, that was mostly just the older dog. The pups are catching on real quick so I should have a lot better luck for the rest of the season. Git that bear!
