DO NOT UPDATE GARMIN WITH A MAC!!!!!!

Post by jcathunter »

I went online and followed all the directions for updating my alpha and collars with my macbook pro and it locked up my collars and made them ring like a phone. No joke. I called Garmin and the guy laughed and said "yeah, thats a known issue. You can't update with a Mac" I asked why their website had the mac updater on it then and he just replied that its a generic program. I had to reset my collars and keep trying to update on a PC about 15 times before I could get thm to work.

You should have answered it. Was probably the CSA calling to ask a few questions about where your dogs have been. You could have asked them about Lois Learners lost emails.
