Garmin astro 320 and the dc 50
I just bought the new combo a couple weeks ago and have used the 320 twice and the new dc50 once . I had the 220 before this with my dc30s . Wonder why the new 320 doesn't track no where like my old 220 . I put the new dc 50 on my one dog's this past weekend and it probably tracked worse than my buddy's 40 . When I did get to the tree the dc 50 never had any gps signal ,no green bars on the 320 for satellite , the only way I got it to finally work again was delete then re added it to the 320 . Did I just get a bad combo , like I said this 320 tracks nothing like my 220 . Should I call garmin

I recently bought the same combo. Mine tracks great with the DC 30 Collars. However the DC 50 does not track half the distance of the 30's. Also wondering the same thing. Let me know what you find out. Try some DC 30 Collars with the 320 if you can.

A friend of mine has DC50's and DC30's. Both track about the same according to him, but I've never been able to compare them myself because I have a 220. I have yet to find a reason to use anything but the DC30's, bought 2 more refurbs this winter. Have you tried updating the collars and GPS? Maybe find a ham club that can test the transmission power of the collar? It should be pretty close to 2 watts.
