Good to find a site like this. I run cougar in this area for all the local outfitters. not much better then having your dogs working for their food. Only have a black and tan ,one walker pup and a collie/lab/ german shepperd.

right know I'm starting from scratch, 1 black and tan 1 1/2 years, one grade walker 10 months and my collie/lab/sheperd who is 3. I just bred the b&t to the collie cross. I'm hoping this makes a great dog. the collie cross has more speed and stamina the any walker I owned and is almost to aggressive on the cats and bears. the black and tan seems tobe great. He was on four cats this winter, tracked hard and treed hard, used the wind on the last one. for a second I thought he was busting out on trash until my collie busted out also. 1 minute later the cat was treed. treed that one 4 times. Welcome, nice pics.

I spent some time in behind the Gang on Churn Creek. Wrangling horses on a sheep hunt. Was I within ahundred miles?
Sure liked it, looked like good lion country.

Yup nice country over there and lots of cats, you live in a great central location.
Been to the Gang Ranch several times but the next time I get anywhere near there it's gonna be for lynx and bob's for the first time hopefully in the winter of '09.
There's a lady cat ouftitter right in Empire valley, along the fraser I believe, right below Blackdome Mountain.
Used to see her go by while camped at the calving barn when i first started hunting years back.
Lotsa wolves in there now and the deer hunting has gone to average if not just the sh*ts.
