where are you at and what are you looking to have your hound trained on? There are good and bad just like hounds themselves.

I would call Greg Anderson, in Show Low, Az. I have never sent a dog to him, but have two dogs out of his lines and have hunted with his dogs. He is gearing up to go hunt bears in Utah for the next month. Your dog may not have what it takes to make a good dog, but if it does, Greg will get it done and the dog will gain obedience either way. Greg's dogs don't get out of the box until they are called by name. We took 8 or 9 dogs out from 8mnths to 3 yrs old. He opens the door of the box, calls em by name, in order, and they wait their turn. His dogs don't bark on the chain, and don't take any liberties, they road within certain distances of the truck and come back to it when the motor shuts off, can't say enough about his training skills, he's the real deal

Corey Dailey takes hounds in for bear season during the spring season in idaho. You will find his ad for hunts down in the outfitters section. He is dedicated and will turn your hound loose as many times as your hound will hold up. That will get your hound started in the right direction going into next season

going up north can be a little more dangerous than thought due to the wolves around.
