These are some pics from this week woody shine oscar hank and ranger treed on a nice bear....woody and oscar and ranger cold trailed into a thicket where the bear was feeding at and got him jumped I put 2 more dogs in with them and all hell broke loose once they finally treed 25 yards off the road bank and as I was waiting on a shooter to come in he came out and they treed him again next to the river where he stayed up long enough for other guys to come in...ranger a pup out of woody led the chase and done fantastic job very pleased either how he turned out the bear dressed out at 190lbs the days I did get to hunt we ended up running 15 bear treed 11 and killed 5 we ended up leaving a lot of smaller bears for next year our season isn't over until 31st but I'm going back to work can't wait to see what next year has to bring. I'm very proud of some young dogs that stepped it up this year and I'm very proud of oscar who is 10 yrs old and I hunted him only in kill seasons and he's still got he didn't let me down. Woody proved to me that he has what it takes to produce some nice bear dogs and I'm looking forward to the next cross I'm going to make with him and shine which is cameron bred

Bear we treed 3 times and saw it cross the road 4 times and got lucky enough to get a picture of it crossing


My little girl 6 months old under her very first bear tree this year

Number #43 for the year and are still going strong
