birdseye question

whats the difference between birdseye and the regoninal sd map cards? I have a astro 320 and have the sd card but ive been told I should download the birdseye. any advice?

I have a 320 and downloaded birdseye a couple years ago...its kinda cool but its basically a satellite image (like google earth). Takes up a lot of memory if i remember right. I have a regional map also and it is just a topo style map. Personally I prefer the basic topo map, it seems to show more roads and is easier to tell where you and your dogs are at. If you are familiar with the area, i think birdseye is not really beneficial. Just my opinion.
