Stolen Walkers Roy Washington

Post by gooddog »

Two walker dogs stolen from my house. 6 year old looking female mostly red with some black and white, houndy face with brand on one ear. Can't mistake her. Her name is Maggie. Other Dog is young, 1 year, red head with mostly white body some black spots. $$$$$5000 for dogs back or you can watch what i do to person who has them.

I'd edit that and take out the dogs name. No point in helping them out by giving out her name.
Hope you find the thief and the dogs.

You might put what your brand is also... Lots of dogs have an ear branded...

Do you live were a bear or a lion could walk by your property nd been eyen up the dogs and so the dogs un hitched them selves and fogged on out chaseing it/ then come home ?That does happen and I had a perticular walker dog who would get loose and chase a female lion who would know I was gone no one home and he was after baby puppys and of my hounds this 1 male unhooked his self 5-6 times and went off all night and till late the next day/ one time for 2 full days ! Seen the lion tracks fresh in the snow walking the pickett dog house and chain line each and every time, then seen her prints and my dogs prints leave out and go up into the hills. Back in those days I didn`t own a tracken unitt nor collars.
Someone might of found em and brought em and dumpted em didn`t want too get involved but at least brought your dogs back !?

Glad you got your dogs back. And Cecil and Larry I too have a hound that can manage to unhitch her chain. Can watch her for hours to try to see how she does it, turn my back for a minute and she is loose! So I know it can happen!

If there is a real chance of a cat comeing around trying too snagg a pet/ if yours now cant get loose they will get killed ! On the other hand if you know that no preditor is comeing around because of were you live in the middle of town/ put the dogs in kennel runs with a flooring & wire topping so he cant dig nor climb out .
By the way, yrs an yrs ago I had a full runnen flagg tailed walker who could slowly figure-eight just near the end of his streched out dog chain/ about 3-5 figure eights the chain would fall to the ground off the dog collar/ seen him through the caben window do this 2 times so I just turned him loose and he hung out and layed on the front door steps till time too go hunting.from then on. TRUE STORY Ofcourse that was just 1 dog and a couple of times a long long time ago .

Most of my hounds are in Kennels but I do have a few on chain and I use Bull Snaps. They don't wear out, or accidentally come off.
