X3 on ridge runners last post. Though this has been entertaining since the laugh box has been pretty quiet lately.

That was a hell of a interesting post haha. At least te gentleman who bought the dog could admit fault aND correct it like a man. On another note, 4k for a dog! I know guys do it, but damn I'm having a hard time spending 1500! Guess I love training them from scratch better. Haha yeah right

I obviously do not have the grit to sell high dollar dogs. If I would sell one for $4,000.00 and the person was not happy with it even several months later, I would cave and take it back and refund the guy. I guess the key to success in the dog selling world is to be hard nosed and the buyer will eventually come around and like the dog.

So a lot of you think 4000 is too much for a finished bobcat hound.Well here is how I see it. If you get a pup for free and train it yourself it's going to take at least two years to be a jam up dog if you are lucky. Time is money! That Dog is costing you money every day. Food shots maintenance etc. just the gas to hunt it and it might never turn out. A real finished hound has so much time on it that is what you are paying for. A young finish bobcat hound is very hard thing to find and is not going to be cheap. Because it took a lot of work and cash to get it there. If bobcats hides were worth as much as two years ago he would pay you back in a hurry. Just at today's prices you will recoop a lot with Western Bobbies . Most Houndsman on here would never even think of selling their top hounds.because they know how hard it is to make one. Most lion hunts are costing 4000 and up. A good young lion hound is priceless to most outfitters. So in my eyes paying 4000 for a finished five-year-old bobcat hound is a very good investment for me and my future ...Timothy

Don't let my wife know that there is any type of possible economics behind hounds. I don't want to go set down with the accountant. I get as much out of watching a 3 month old pup take a track backwards or running a mule deer like it's their job as I do catching lion after lion with my "finished" dogs. Seeing a pup come along and being his buddy the whole way through is one of my favorite parts of hound hunting. As long as guys are hunting hard, being honest men, and looking out for the future of the lifestyle, then hunt on.

Ridge runner (Tim)? It takes a stand-up guy to admit on open forum that you were wrong and I commend you for it!
PChaser shame on you for being such a " sour bitch" about all of this and feeding all this negative talk!
PS my best dog came from Andy's the first topper again X Dott cross!

Ain't that the truth. I know there are dogs out there that wouldn't be sold for offers well over $4000.

Hey blue dog I don't know if you can't read or something but if you look the reason I started this was not because of the dog in Colorado it was from a different dog that he got back and couldn't come up with the money. Like I said I accomplished what I wanted to and shame on you for not reading the whole story.

This is not how real men handle issues especially on an open forum!
You certainly wanted to get everybody's attention by posting on 3 different boards
Now you got it! Bitch!

I see where you come from ridge runners. Maybe in the future if drop that cash on a dog. Just not economical at this point for my level. I'm still just investing my time and money before I actually get to make money.

Pchaser you just keep up the lies. If anyone gives a shit I can put them in touch with the guy I was dealing with i guess he is Ross's buddy accordi n g to ross, but totally different he is honest as you can ask for a real good guy. Never new you were the middle man on a deal that had nothing to do with you. Now you can go back to trying to catch a bobcat or a LIEIN lol. Andy

Oh Andy I know how you always have to get one last poke in on the Internet machine where you're so famous. But if there's one thing you can count on is that all my friends know exactly what kind of person you are. Good luck
