Re: Keeping a pack in one pen.?
I had a digger a few years ago. Tried the hot wire on bottom. That lasted a week until he tore it up as he went through it when a bear walked by. My fence is 6' tall at the lowest part. I buried a 5' fence around the entire 1/2 acre flat on the ground on the inside of the vertical fence and it's also attached every 6" to the vertical fence. That did stop any digging but if a lion walks through the property, some dogs are going over the top. I had a hot wire on top for a few years until they tore it off as they were going over the top. It's happened twice in 20 years so I'm not going to waste too much time worrying about it.
