This is a road kill from Texas. They say it was weighed in at 260#.

It's a big one for sure but what in the heck was it doing way over by Abeline? Oh well never can figure them lions out anyway probably a fugitive fro New Mexico. He heard they were trying to eliminate the cougar completly there so he figured he move on and try his luck some place else.

I don't know about the 260 pounds but I would guess looking at his gut he has at least 35 pounds of calf meat in him. Let me tell you they better get to skinning pretty quick or they will need some nose plugs for sure. LOL!

That pic about three months ago was a road kill in California and a few months before that he was hit on the road in Arizona.LOL

I live not far from Abilene, Texas. Unless you are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN of your sources I would be VERY SKEPTICAL of both the kill location and size of this lion. Not saying they are not possible, but I am saying they are VERY unlikely.

THAT CAT IS A ROAD KILL OUT OF AZ, THAT IS A FRIEND OF MINE IN THE PICTURE BY THE NAME OF JASON ELLICO OUT OF WILLIAMS ARIZONA THAT CAT WAS HIT BY CAR ON THE PRESCOTT HWY. JASON ALSO WORKS FOR THE HIGHWAY PATROL AND A FELLOW OFFICER WAS FIRST TO ARRIVE AND HE FINISHED IT OFF WITH HIS PISTOL. THE VEHICLE OWNER WAS ISSUED A PERMIT FROM THE DWR FOR THIS CAT. APROX WEIGHT 210LB

Boy o Boy, I cannot for the life of me figure out who does all these different stories when the truth will get out eventually! I am waiting to hear about the lion chasing Bigfoot on Buffalo bayou anytime now! LOL

Yeh, the rumor mill and hunting ..... I didn't buy the 260# especially in Texas. Thanks to the web it only took four hrs to distill this one!!!
