Called up the animal rights people about a dog they needed to adopt out. This is how the conversation went.
Me: calling about a coon hound you have listed in the classifieds
Them: Do you know its name?
Me: I dident see a name, i seen your phone number, do you have a coon hound?
Them: Yes but i dont think he would make a good fit for you, he is aggressive.
Me: Aggressive? You guys arent adopting out aggressive dogs to people right? That is how little kids get bit!
Them: Well that is just how this hunting dogs are
Me: I have never seen a hunting dog that is aggressive to people!! That is because hound men will not tolerate any aggressive dog. It is bred out of them.
Them: nothing to say
Me: Well in the future do you guys have a problem adopting dogs out to homes that use the dogs to hunt with?
Them: WE WILL NOT ADOPT OUT A DOG TO YOU IF YOU ARE GOING TO HUNT WITH IT!
Me: You do realize that hunting is legal right?
Them: We cannot guaranteed that the dog will hunt, so that is why we will not let you adopt any hunting dog.
Me: I consider myself a dog trainer
Them: Are you certified?
Me: Nope, I guess that is that then. Have a nice day.
In Utah animal rights people are considered domestic terrorists. Because of the animal enterprise terrorism act. Just wondering if you guys have had any dealings with domestic terrorists?

Re: Hunting dog from the shelter?
So now i am feeling a little discriminated against, so i go to there website to see what the heck is going on. I see a picture of an "animal rights officer". Now i am wondering if domestic terrorists are posing as public law enforcement!!! So i call the report animal abuse number. This is how the conversation went.
Me: Hi i was just wondering what you guys do?
Them: We investigate animal abuse
Me: You dont have anymore authority than me
Them: correct
Me: because you are suited up like a cop people might think you are real law enforcement. What exactly can you do when people call and report animal abuse?
Them: We can call the real cops.
Me: Dont you think people need to just call the real cops direct? You guys are providing a false sense of authority.
Them: I am a real cop this is my part time job, i do this after i clock out from my public service dutys.
Me: I just think people need to be calling the cop thats on duty, not the cop that is off duty at a part time job. So they pay you with the donation money they get? Do you feel like you are doing anything dishonest or scamming people?
Them: Hey if people are dumb enough to give money, i dont feel bad at all.
Me: Ok, well you have a good day.
I think this is a disease that came from the blue west coast states?

I have similar stories.
If you want to trace the route of the disease, you will leave the west coast and I am guessing you will pass through Babylon. And on your way to Babylon, you will pass through places where starving people must allow animals to rummage through their last bit of corn or wheat and eat it, or drink the last of their water. And at the same time, people in suits hold their head in the urine stream of a cow for the blessing of it. And here, exporting beef is illegal, because edible animals and creation are worshiped by the parents of children who are starving to death.
You might want to stop your journey to the origins of these doctrines there in Babylon. I am pretty sure you don't even want to visit the place where these doctrines originate.
I can't say exactly when these doctrines made their way to the west coast. But I do know their was a huge influx of "missionaries" in the sixties and seventies in answer to the cry for anything other than the commandments of YHWH God. And I do know that we all are directly influenced by these doctrines with the loss of our freedom. (Disobedience to God's commandments ALWAYS results in the loss of freedom).
Pray for the leader of the free world.
Do it now.
It is the most powerful thing you can do to preserve your right to hunt with dogs.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood..."

Appreciate the come back. Unfortunately I am unable to help them people you speak of, i also dont know what is the best action for everything they are up against. What i can do is plead with my fellow american voters to download and read the voter pamphlet before voting for any corrupt career politician left or right.david wrote:I have similar stories.

My way of life, what i want to eat and drink depends on it. Another thing everyone can do is communicate common sense facts with other red blooded Americans. Gun ownership should be a requirement for every man woman and child. Bullet proof glass and door locks should be outlawed. Every felon right out of prison should be required to own a military grade M-16 and three hand held grenades. This will get us moving away from veganism.

If I am required to own a gun, I will probably get rid of mine. The red baron wrote:...Gun ownership should be a requirement for every man woman and child. You want to force me to own a gun, you can place it in my cold dead fingers.
If there is a requirement that bullet proof glass and doors are illegal, I will probably want to figure how to get some.
If I was required to own an M-16 and hand grenades, I would get rid of mine and buy something I am not required to have.
What we need is freedom to keep the Eternal Laws and not more meaningless laws that change every election.
But I sure do understand your sentiments.

Re: Hunting dog from the shelter?
It is a simple push back against vegan people, normal people will never see eye to eye with vegans. If California vegans have a problem with pet food slaughter houses AKA animals killed without thought. Then they want my freedom to own a companion animal (cat or dog) because that is what i feed my companion pets. If i see signs everywhere that say no guns allowed because vegan people are afraid, then i want to force them to own a gun. A simple push back. If California city vegans are appalled at young country people going thru hunter safety and harvesting game animals then i want to force there children to own a gun. They want my freedom it will cost them. If they want to limit what guns i can own, I want to put guns in the hands of people they are afraid of. Its just all simple push back, trump is only the beginning.david wrote:If I am required to own a gun, I will probably get rid of mine. The red baron wrote:...Gun ownership should be a requirement for every man woman and child. I do understand your sentiment completely. But you can't promote freedom by taking freedom away. (Freedom does not mean the absence of boundaries. Quite the opposite. It is respect for boundaries.)
Again, I understand where you are coming from.

Re: Hunting dog from the shelter?
I dont want to take any freedom away, the gun ownership requirement is not a new idea and has already been implemented in a few towns in America. We will be granting vegans extra liberty to enjoy by becoming responsible gun owners. We are also going to need a well armed militia. So we would grant vegans extra liberty to own RPGs and hand grendas, as long as they promise to only use them against enemy's foreign and domestic. No such thing as taking freedom, but if they refuse to keep this stuff at home we will simply lock them up. Same as people unwilling to answer a war draft.

Re: Hunting dog from the shelter?
Baron, In two short days I see that you have posted negative comments about Californians on at least three separate threads. I agree that there are those in this state that I do not agree with but I do not lump all residents into one disagreeable mob. I see that you are from Utah. Do you agree with everyone in that state, or do you list them all as approved? If so, approved by whom? I invite you to come and spend a week with me. I am sure that I can show you that the majority of the folks you meet are honest, upstanding citizens that are concerned about the same things that trouble most of America.
