Colorado unit 21

I just got a call that I was next for the alternate NR tag muzzy deer tag for unit 21/30. With only 3 week till the hunt I'm scrabbling for as much info as possible on this unit. Not looking for secret honey hole so a basic starting point and advice .

Well I was able to get a little info before I left and then swung into the local taxidermy shop in Rangely and pick up a little info and to the mountain we went. To say the least the aspens thickets kicked my ass but saw 20-25 different bucks with one pushing the 190 mark. I was unable to seal the deal on him but happy with the buck I did shoot.Image
