Hello, im new to the idea of the majestic, ive hunted coonhounds all my liffe they have changed a lot, im trying to find out what % of bloodhound I need to get a good coon and bobcat dogade. Any info on these dogs will be appreciated.

Well. First ive seen some successful coon hounds with a high percentage of bloodhound. And some lion hounds. I have heard that in the northeast slower track dogs work for their method of bobcat hunting. But in most of the areas ive hunted bobcats have to be trailed at agood pace or the scent dies to quickly. So instead of worrying about what % of bloodhound id be more concerned about which dog your planning on breeding to. And how much time you have to sort through puppies to find a catdog
