I have been wanting to add a hound that is as heavy in Minisink blood as they come so n my way back across the country I visited both him and a fellow by the name of josh winters. Both are great guys and josh is doing a great job carrying on the Minisink line. I also wanted to get sme history on Mr. Henneman and dogs like one eyed Andy. Boy let me tell you, his living room is filled with just that. As for his breeding plans, only Mr. Henneman can decide who gets that privileged information haha! He did just pic up two pups from Josh's litter he just had though. He picked the female i wanted actually. They are some lookers!
I think that is what seperates the good breeders from the person that is just raising dogs. The top breeders like Mr. Henneman are planning years in advance how they will breed their dogs. I am improving but can't see beyond the females that I currently own.
Adios,
Gary

I have always admired John's dedication to the breed and the standards he has held and not wavered. He also along with Bob Mattscheck had the best dang looking hounds I ever laid eyes on!
Upstate has some of them out west in our country now and let me tell you they look, sound and act like real hounds! I am sure John would be very proud....
