WV Big Game Hunter says Hi

Post by dsodstiks »

Hello Fellow Hunters, My name is Adam Evans, im 23 and im from Dolly Sods WV. Some beautiful Country here in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. I hunt English and Bluetick hounds religously but i do own one Treeing Walker that is Meyers bred. Ive coon and bear hunted since i was 13, but have a huge family tradition of hunting with hounds. My dream is to someday become a Professional Full Time Outfitter and Guide out west, not enough territory here. Im glad to see this forum is back open and running. I sure did miss it while it was down. A special Thanks to Buddy and the moderators and all the good houndsmen out there helping the youth in our sport, and who are practicing the morals values and ethics of our sport. Since i didnt grow up in the past so to speak id like to see more of it in my future.! Thanks to all Take Care and May God Bless ... Adam

dsodstiks. Dolly Sods, I have been there, a most unusual place with a lot of elevation. Last year while traveling around WVA with the DNR got to see most of the state. I was giving seminars on calling coyotes. I have said it before and I will say it again, if I ever had to move East, I would pick WVA it affords more opportunity to sportsmen than any other state that I have been. Besides, I loved the people.

Did you notice the wide open country. Great for calling Coyotes. But as you know them easterns can be tricky. My dads big into it. I used to be untill hounds took over my life. Will you be back in the Mountain State anytime soon? and thanks for the reply and the mountain state welcomes you! Alot of down to earth good people in the state.

dsodstiks. I do not have any definite plans to be there at this time. I know they have a big outdoor show in Charleston on an annual basis. I am not sure of the dates. I need to exhibit there one of these days. Tell your dad to stay after the coyotes, the more you call the easier it gets.
