I threw Nick in the truck on my way to work, she is my walker who just turned one. Saw a old sow on the side of the road, work could wait. Well little Nick had her hands full the bear never moved just went back and forth chasing each other. What a great picture this would make. So with my rifle in one hand I just got the camera up and the old girl charged. Missed the chance of a great picture! I threw my arms up.and hollered and the bear finally got the idea and started jogging. Every 100 yards the fight would start up again. As they started up a steep hill Nick was closing the gap and just about caught hair when that old sow spun around ajust about caught Nick. About that time I decided to help out and let a shot go near the bear to get it moving. I guess Nick figured i shot something and she came running back wagging her tail and checking for the dead bear. It was a good time, as in this country you hardly ever get to see the race or the fight and this was a good 15 minutes of fun. But I have to tell the story instead of posting pictures for the contest. Here is a picture of My 12 yearold Colton with Nick on her first dead bear.
