yeah i hear ya. i have the forester working on some high elevation hunts right now. they are are peeling to beat hell! they don't feed there and there are no berrys yet so the only thing the bears have to eat is fawns , grass and trees! they sure are doing a good job on the trees. i don't think i have ever seen that much damage in one area before.
HOUND HUNTING ISN'T A HOBBY IT'S AN ADDICTION

this is the last time everybody will see these dogs at least from me for i have sold vinnie to straberry mt kennals and vindeta is going to cal and gretchen is still up for sale, makes me kinnda sad in 24 years of hunting dogs iam haning it up for awhile this pack was the best dogs i ever had in 24 years vinnie was one of the best bear dogs i ever hunted with or owned
and could even tree a cat or two lol, vindeat was on her way to be like her daddy vinnie. and for gretchen awesome for being as young as she is 8 months old then and striking and riggin like a big dog now she is 10 months she was on 8 bears at 8 months, so i thought i wouldpost this one last time and say good bye to my best freinds they treated me good now they can treat ther new owners good.

BEARS
RYAN, THAT SUCKS YOU ARE GIVING IT UP, HOPE THAT IT IS BECAUSE YOU WANT TO, NOT HAVE TOO, HEY FOR YOU BEAR EXPERTS IN WASHINGTON ,I DONE MY FAIR SHARE OF DEPREDATION HERE IN OREGON. I NEVER SAW A BEAR PEEL A TREE BEYOND JULY, HERE THEY START IN JUNE WHEN THE SAP STARTS TO FLOW GOOD WITH THE WARM SPRING DAYS, BY JULY ITS ALL OVER FOR THE YEAR. INTERESTING HOW MUCH THINGS CHANGE JUST A FEW HUNDRED MILES TO THE NORTH! COGRATS. ON YOUR SUCCESS GUYS. AND BY THE WAY WHEN I GOT OUT RUN IT WAS BECAUSE MY DOGS DIDNT WANT TO CATCH THAT PARTICULAR BEAR
BUT YOU ALSO KNOW THERE ARE SOME THAT HAVE A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF SPEED, THAT IS WHY I SWITCHED TO WALKERS SOME 20 PLUS YEARS AGO. NOW I DID IT, I OPENED MYSELF UP FOR A FIGHT WITH THOSE GUYS THAT HUNT BRAND X DOGS....LOL...GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE MIKE
