Saw a fellow the other day w/ one of these on his tracking box. He said it added some range to his box. Have any of you had any experiance with them? I was thinking about trying one.

On an Icom for example expect to get about another 3/4 of a mile. They work good. However, they do generate a lot of background noice. It does not acutally generate it, but it amplifies the tracking units background noise. EBAY has them for around $40 with shipping most of the time. They last about 2 seasons. Good luck
