What yagi for a tracker with the SMA

Post by BKMFR »

I was wondering if there is one yagi that works best with a tracker maxima with the SMA connector. Also, for those of you who have used the tracker with a yagi, how is the performance? Does it rate in range with the blue box?

anyone have any opinion on this subject? I am thinking about upgrading my unit. Is it worth it?

Yagi

I do think its worth it.. I don't know how it is compared to the blue box but I know that with the Yagi attached I can really pin point where the dogs are and I have a lot more range.. with out it attached I know the general area but thats about it.. I usually don't carry the Yagi with me because I hunt off of mules and for the most part I don't need it.. but when I have a dog get lost or I get separated from them when I get to the truck I use the Yagi..

I've been going up in some country here lately with some big bluffs and deep deep canyons.. they are all about useless.... so I ordered the Astro I hope it works better up there...
