Hello from East TN
hi guys im Tony Collins from east tn I have already posted a few times before I saw this so figures i would give yall some info bout me I grew up here in the mountains of east tn been hunting all my life im 21 now and started running dogs when I was 8 had fiest squirrel dogs then about 10 i started running hounds on coons and been running hounds ever since started with mostly walker hounds and other than a Bluetick or 2 and a few curs and fiest thats all i have had since until lately i got rid of all the walkers and decided to move top a different color or colors should I say and change the game and try my hand at bobcats and bears as well as coons so what I got now is a 2 year old red bone gyp does pretty good on coons and is getting going on cats (bear are to come) , a redtick gyp bout 9 months old running coon and cat both with other dogs actually done better on cats so far, a 8 month airedale male got him to hunt but i just dont think he has what it takes so he has become my hunting partner as i hunt mostly alone so he keeps me company lol and who knows he might take off , then i got a stephens cur and a lil fiest squirrel dogs I am thinking about running the fiest with the hounds to hold the cat in the tree thats what I have had trouble with is keeping em treed, hoping to ad a plott or 2 to the pack once i get the ones i got going good on cats that and a redbone male any way i have rambled on long enough you guys got the idea if your down this way shoot me a line and we will see if we cant put a ol coon in the timber with my pot lickers for better luck though bring yours lol

Keep on them Cats.. I'm curious about how things go down there. doesn't seam like allot of folks cat hunt in your area..
You might try and Hunt in the early morning Or Late evening and try to sneak in to the Tree.
man they are tuff tricky little Bastards but when you catch one of them things it sure makes it enjoyable to sit under that tree..
Let us know how you do on them Cats..
