Just curious about different lines of Plotts.
1) What lines of Plotts have the coldest nose ?
2) What lines of Plotts are the fastest ?
3) What lines tends to be more gritty ?
4) What lines tend to have more brains ?
5) What lines of Plotts are the best all around ?
6) What lines of Plotts are more ill than others ?
I know there will be several people giving different answers about different lines (at least I hope so) but that is the point of this thread. I want to know about the different Plott breeders and lines. Looking to maybe add one to my pack down the line. I most likely wont write another post on this topic. I want to just sit back and read any information that people post.
Thanks

I have a pup that has some salmen river, bluff creek, and swampland. He is seven months old and last week he was on two bear trees and a bay up for a couple of hours. He is gritty enough for me, trailing good already, and very tree minded.
I think the swamplands are great all around dogs.
Some of the Ursus lines are suppose to have tons of grit.(not been around them too much).
But this pup I have has impressed me enough I am going to get two more with similair/same breeding.

I dont have any Plotts but from reading a lot of forums the Ursus line seems to be flooding the gates. I'm no expert by any means. But there is alot good ang old line bred dogs. Not sure if you can go wrong with any of them. Ursus,Weems, wright,Bearpath Gunner. the list goes on. Sorry if I missed some.
