Post by chilcotin hillbilly »

Put this sow up yesterday. dumped buffy. rudy and nick chased her for about a mile before putting her up. First time I've been out to actually look for bears this fall ,rudy and NIck did great, buffy got the bear up and then came back to me. This behavior is starting to get old for me . any how heres some picturesImageImage

hunting

hi doug. hope all is well with you. been catching any lions? probably starting to feel like winter is fast approaching there. hope you have not had any more trouble with your neighbor guy. boy the way all your ground lay's out there it would be hard avoiding the guy. your one dog is coming out when you get to the tree? make it a habit to tie the dog up so once you are there she can't leave. also if you have a vantage point with the game up, sit and study your dogs for some time before you walk to them. however i have found that this is a habit that hardly gets fixed. you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. if a hound has no interest in treeing. it only serves to weaken the rest of your pack. especially a young dog. good luck with your hunting.......mike
