Dog registration question

I bred two dogs about a year ago. The pups came and only 2 runts lived. I never registered them and gave a pup to a friend of mine. He now wants to register it. Both parents are registered but I can't find the papers for the sire. How and/or could I still register this pup for him?

You can it will just cost you more.If you will call UKC and ask for registration department they will walk you through the process.Their number is 269-343-9020
