hello again/skunks

hello to all I have been away for awhile... hope everything is well... I have a quick question.... hounds got into a skunk last night.. got it pretty bad... whats the remedy some use and how soon must I get it done/

well if you dont like the skunk smell, mix up a quart of hydrogen peroxide with half a cup of baking soda and a bit of dishwashing soap....put on some rubber gloves an scrub them down a couple of times....or it'll just wear off naturaly in a month or so :lol:

my shag got into a couple of skunks in utah. i washed him down w/ baby shampoo and then sponged him down w/a solution of baking soda (1 box) & warm water (2-3 quarts). i let the baking soda dry. then washed him down w/ baby shampoo again. then sponged him down w/ a lemon juice solution (1 small bottle & 2 quarts warm water) and let dry.
