peoples right about this board ain't no hunters on here anymore!!
at least there not many walkapoo hunters -
maybe they are keeping it secret-
one of the first hunting dogs i owned was a poodle-
it was long before i had a drivers licence or even a hunting licence - lol
i remember doing a lot of hunting but cant remember catching anything lol i do remeber it getting awful excited bout fishing
it was probably a better dog then the first dozen hounds i owned - lol
i havent felt the need to cross one with a walker ,,,, YET
that poodle haircut is kinda pansy looking -
when the tailgate drops

That is what I was thinking reading this whole thread. I am just afraid that some hounds I have seen would make a poodle look like the grand bobcat master.pete richardson wrote:its some of the hounds ive had that i really dont want to talk about -
For one thing, a number of hounds I have seen are little cry baby whimps when it comes to hunting on a nice, beautiful, clear -10 degree morning. They dont want out of the box, and when you finally drag them out, they freeze off body parts. You can put some of that poodle hair on em as far as I am concerned if it would make them act like hunting dogs.
I know it is not really the dogs' fault. Probably took 100 years of Southern breeding to get them dogs hairless. We sure could use some more hair up North here.
There is an old saying "beauty is as beauty does".
A nice tri-colored poodle with a big beautiful bawl mouth on a co....ld track, good chop on the jump, big old quivering locate bawl rolling over to a ringing chop punchin holes in the winter morning. Then he curls up in the snow bank for a nice warm winter afternoon nap while I cook a little lunch. Heck Joe, look at 'im, he aint even shivering every 15 seconds. 'fact he aint shivering at all.
now that's what I am talkin about.
Probably have to trade in my carharts for a nice bright red white and blue spandex apre's ski suit though.
Just like ol Dan'l Boone used to wear.
poodles
Treedinc I just think that no one else on here is stupid enough to ask a dumb ass thing like this. You will need a maxi pad along with that tampon in your ass after this dude.Ask something like that and you are bound to get railed,so put on your period panties and get ready.
You have to catch em not chase em

david , thats the truth --
i think hairless walkers-- are great for running bear in july --
but , ive seen them so scratched by blackberry thorns , even just spruce thickets -----
id say we dont have the nasty thorns lots of places do
there whole bottom side . just red - i always say-----'hunt the hair off them'---
thats not so hard to do -
when the tailgate drops

You people wreck more post then anybody i've seen.
If your jealous get your ass out in the woods and make something and get off the computer..might be easer.
Just my observation.
Matt
Would you use running or treeing with the walker blood?
