hey yall im 16 years old i live in southeastern new mexico i used to hunt lions and bear with my dad now im getting a pack goin for myself i have a little walker gip named babe and hopefully getting two blue tick gips here in the next couple of days my dad told me about this site and said i could get some help from some of yall.

Welcome to the forum. You and dad ever hunt the Cloudcroft, Mayhill area.... Im hearing that west of Artesia there is some good cat hunting.. How many hounds you running?

yah we have ran quite a few bears in cloudcroft mayhill area we have also ran a few lions up there but we have had more luck around the queens for lions. at the time i just have a little walker gip but i am going to be getting two more blue tick gips in the next week im trying to find a tracking system and me and one of my buddies are going to be working on a rig box today.

we really do not have a lot of cats on the ranch....a lot of people say the area is infested but in the last couple of months I have not seen any or proof of any.
